Popcorn Party: Colorful Treats

What distinguishes a great movie night from everyday TV gawking on the couch? Most definitely: popcorn! Even more than a big telly or a great sound system, popcorn brings a feeling of cinema into your own four walls. We inevitably remember the movie houses of our childhood: the red plush carpet in the foyer, the deep, comfortable chairs, the ice cream commercials beforehand…. There we go, children again in joyful anticipation of the movie highlight.

But even a nostalgic delicacy like popcorn can still be pimped: today we show you how you can easily dye your popcorn!

What you need

Popcorn
Oil
Sugar
Colorful sugar sprinkles

Here’s how!

Put a generous amount of oil in a deep pan, pour in the popcorn and sugar it to taste. Now add the sugar sprinkles, these should have intense colors if possible to color the popcorn appropriately well. Set the stove to medium heat and don’t forget to cover the pan, otherwise the popcorn will bounce all over the kitchen. The sugar sprinkles will melt and by the end of the procedure, you’ll have multicolored popcorn with no further ado!
