They&#8217;re not as airy and (way too) light as pralines, but they&#8217;re also not as tough on the stomach as a whole candy bar. It&#8217;s hard to believe that Toffifee could be improved upon on any level. But after years of research in the food lab, we can announce: Yes, it is possible! We have pimped Toffiffee &#8211; and show you how it works here&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2> What you need <\/h2>\n<p><strong>For the dough<\/strong><br \/>\n1 oz cocoa<br \/>\n1 oz sugar<br \/>\n3 oz flour<br \/>\nA pinch of salt<br \/>\n2,5 oz butter<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the topping<\/strong><br \/>\n5 oz sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp cornstarch<br \/>\n20-22 Toffifee<br \/>\n2 egg whites<br \/>\nA pinch of salt<\/p>\n<h2>And here&#8217;s how <\/h2>\n<p><strong>Prepare the dough<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix well the cocoa powder with the flour, sugar and a pinch of salt. <\/p>\n<p>Piece by piece, add the butter and knead the dough until smooth, then chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare the topping <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beat the egg whites with a little salt until foamy.<\/p>\n<p>Slowly add the sugar and beat the mixture until stiff. <\/p>\n<p>Sift the cornstarch and stir it in.<\/p>\n<p>Pour the finished mixture into a spout and chill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Garnish<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Roll out the dough and cut out small circles, then place a Toffiffee on each piece of dough, chocolate side down.<\/p>\n<p>Now pipe a meringue mound on each piece of Toffifee dough with the spout.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for about 20 minutes at 300 degrees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you also think that these Toffifee are even better than the original?
