So good that there are still things that connect us. Fish sticks are one such classic, which has been popular with children for generations. And it is by no means just the little ones who are into it, right? Today, we&#8217;re going to show you how to make fish sticks yourself &#8211; and we don&#8217;t just mean frying them&#8230;.<\/p>\n<h2> What you need <\/h2>\n<p>200 g boneless pollock fillet (or cod fillet)<br \/>\nLemon juice<br \/>\nsalt and pepper<br \/>\n2\u00bd tablespoons flour<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\nbreadcrumbs<br \/>\n1\u00bd tablespoons canola oil<\/p>\n<h2>And this is how it works<\/h2>\n<p>. <\/p>\n<p>Cut the fillet into strips in fish stick format.<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper the fillet pieces and sprinkle with a little lemon juice.<\/p>\n<p>For the breading: crack the egg over a plate and whisk it, then turn the fillet strips in flour, pull them through the egg and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.<\/p>\n<p>Fry in a pan with the oil until golden brown (but watch out, they tend to burn quickly).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your memories of fish sticks and do you still like eating them as much today as you did when you were a kid?
