No wonder, after all, it&#8217;s hard to decide what&#8217;s the best ingredient in it &#8211; the bechamel sauce, the minced meat filling, or the pasta, perhaps? Surely more than a few would say that the cheese crust is the be-all and end-all. So how about we just turn up the \u201ccheese slider\u201d to pimp our lasagna? The result is a real blast of flavor! We&#8217;ll show you how&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>What you need <\/h2>\n<p><strong>For the cheese sauce:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>33 fl. oz milk<br \/>\n1 oz butter<br \/>\n1,5 oz flour<br \/>\nsalt and pepper<br \/>\nlime juice, nutmeg<br \/>\n1 package of  slice cheese (e.g. cheddar)<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the filling:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Olive oil<br \/>\n1 lb minced meat, mixed<br \/>\n1 onion<br \/>\n2 cloves of garlic<br \/>\n1 tablespoon tomato paste<br \/>\n1 can peeled or strained tomatoes (28 oz)<br \/>\n1 small can of kidney beans (7 oz)<br \/>\njalape\u00f1os to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>For layering and topping:<\/strong><br \/>\n5 &#8211; 10 lasagne sheets<br \/>\n1 package of sliced cheese (e.g. cheddar)<br \/>\nSprinkled cheese (Emmental, Cheddar or Gouda)<br \/>\nSliced avocado for arranging <\/p>\n<h2>And here&#8217;s how! <\/h2>\n<p>Chop the onions and fry them briefly, then add the minced meat.<\/p>\n<p>Gradually add the chopped garlic, tomato paste, peeled\/strained tomatoes and kidney beans and jalape\u00f1os, if desired, and simmer for a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Melt the butter in a saucepan, gradually stir in the flour and add the milk. <\/p>\n<p>Season with nutmeg, salt, pepper and lime juice.<\/p>\n<p>Add the slice of cheese and let it melt, stirring constantly.<\/p>\n<p>In a baking dish, layer the lasagna by alternating minced meat mixture and pasta sheets with cheese slices.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, pour the cheese sauce over the lasagna and sprinkle with cheese to cover; serve with sliced avocados.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you like our pimped lasagna?
