Because a simple, well-breaded schnitzel is in itself actually a culinary highlight. Of course, the \u201cpimped schnitzel\u201d must also be well prepared. Some people remember the horror of a totally soft-boiled and tasteless cordon bleu from the university canteen&#8230; But with our recipe, it&#8217;s guaranteed to be delicious!<\/p>\n<h2> What you need <\/h2>\n<p>4 chicken breasts<br \/>\n1 tablespoon garlic powder<br \/>\n1 tablespoon onion powder<br \/>\n16 slices swiss cheese<br \/>\n\u00bd lb ham<br \/>\n1 cup all-purpose flour<br \/>\n4 eggs<br \/>\n2 cups panko bread crumbs<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the Dijon Sauce:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3 tablespoons butter<br \/>\n2 cloves garlic<br \/>\n3 tablespoons all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 cups milk<br \/>\n\u00bc cup dijon mustard<br \/>\n1 cup parmesan cheese<br \/>\nSalt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<h2>And here&#8217;s how! <\/h2>\n<p>Rub the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, then pat them out.<\/p>\n<p>Place two layers of cheese and ham on the chicken breast, roll in cling film and chill in the fridge for half an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Beat the eggs and put them in a bowl, put the breadcrumbs in a second bowl. Now dip the rolled-up cutlets (without the foil, of course) alternately into the eggs, then into the breadcrumbs to coat them.<\/p>\n<p>Fry briefly in a pan and then finish cooking in the oven at 325\u00b0F.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the sauce:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Melt the butter in a saucepan and saut\u00e9 the garlic until soft. Add the flour and whisk.<\/p>\n<p>Add the milk and whisk until smooth. <\/p>\n<p>Add the mustard, parmesan, salt and pepper and whisk to combine.<\/p>\n<p>Serve all together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you like our Cordon Bleu?
