Who hasn&#8217;t shaped a piece of Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape into a snail, or eaten the cookie layers first and then the chocolate center of a chocolate cookie?<\/p>\n<p>For today&#8217;s recipe, we&#8217;ve cheekily repurposed Twix &#8211; but the result is simply delicious, we promise!<\/p>\n<h2> What you need <\/h2>\n<p><strong>For the cookie dough<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>8 oz butter<br \/>\n3,5 oz cream cheese, softened<br \/>\n7 oz sugar<br \/>\n1 large egg<br \/>\n1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n7 oz flour<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon baking powder<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the caramel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>40 caramel cubes<br \/>\n2 tablespoons of cream<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the chocolate ganache<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 oz chocolate chips<br \/>\n1\/4 cup whipped cream<\/p>\n<h2>And here&#8217;s how <\/h2>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F, meanwhile line three baking sheets with parchment paper.  <\/p>\n<p>Beat butter and cream cheese in a bowl until smooth, about 3 minutes.  <\/p>\n<p>Add sugar, egg and vanilla and beat until fluffy.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Pour the contents of one bowl into the other and beat for about 30 seconds until everything is well blended.  <\/p>\n<p>Using a measuring spoon or similar, scoop out 1.5 tablespoons of cookie dough at a time, then roll into a ball and then shape into a patty.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for 9 to 12 minutes, the cookies should be just slightly brown around the edges.  <\/p>\n<p>For the caramel cream, place the 40 caramels in a medium glass bowl with 2 tablespoons of cream and microwave for 30 seconds, then remove from microwave and stir. Then microwave for another 30 seconds and stir until the caramels are completely melted.  <\/p>\n<p>Spoon a half tablespoon of caramel onto the top of each cookie. <\/p>\n<p>To make the ganache, heat the cream in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds, then immediately add the milk chocolate chips to the cream. Let sit for 5 minutes before stirring.<\/p>\n<p>Stir the chocolate chips into the cream to completely melt the chocolate. Spoon half a tablespoon of the melted chocolate onto each cookie. <\/p>\n<p>Place the cookies in the refrigerator to harden. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you like our cookies as much as regular Twix?
