A Big Hit At The Next Party: The Hot Dog Cheese Bomb!

One cooking rule that is absolutely true, but that any gourmet chef would snort scornfully about, is: There can never be enough cheese! This is true even for dishes without cheese. Hot dogs, for example. Because when dipped in liquid cheese, they taste even better and easily make a good substitute for raclette and the like at a fun party. We have the perfect recipe for you!

What you need

1 oven cheese (Emmental, Gouda or Parmesan is also okay)
2 jars of spiced pickles
1 package of ready-made pizza dough
2 bunches of parsley
1 package ready-made puff pastry
mini sausages as needed
Ketchup, mustard and fried onions to taste

And here’s how!

Wrap the oven cheese with the pizza dough and cut off the overhanging ends of the dough, then bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Cut the puff pastry to size and wrap it around the sausages; also bake in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Separate the top of the cheese dough pocket and “pimp” the melted cheese with the chopped pickles and the fried onions.
