Damn Tasty: Cookies Filled With Oreos!

Mom and Dad used to say that you can also overdo it with good things. But even then, as children, we knew that there is no such thing as “too much of a good thing. Very much chocolate, for example, is better than a lot of chocolate. True to that motto, for today’s recipe we’ve combined two delicious things to make them even better: Cookies and Oreos!

Here’s what you need

Soft butter
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3 1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon of pure vanilla
1 lb flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 bag of chocolate chips
1 bag of Oreo cookies

Here’s how!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a mixer, beat butter and sugar until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla until everything is well blended.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Slowly add to wet ingredients and chocolate chips.

One by one, wrap the Oreo cookie with the dough.

Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 9-13 minutes.
